Who can apply
Bangladesh nationals living in NSW and Queensland may apply through the Sydney Consulate. Applications are forwarded to BRTA, and the Consulate issues a certificate only after receiving a positive verification report.
Required documents
Submit the signed application form, one recent passport photograph, original Bangladesh driving licence with copies of both sides, original Bangladesh MRP with a copy of its information page, and payment receipt.
Submission
Use a pre-booked appointment for in-person submission. Postal applicants should include all required originals and copies and a self-addressed prepaid trackable return envelope.
Fee and processing
The published fee is AUD 35. Processing time depends on BRTA's response and may vary; the authentication certificate is issued after a positive report is received.
