Important
A Travel Permit is issued only for return to Bangladesh and cannot be delivered by post or courier. The applicant must attend an interview by prior appointment.
Requirements
Provide an application to the Consul General explaining the circumstances, completed Travel Permit form, evidence of Bangladesh identity such as a current/previous passport, 17-digit verifiable birth certificate or original NID, and six recent colour photographs with white backgrounds.
Lost passport
Include the police report when the passport has been lost. Also provide the service-fee receipt if paying by EFT; card/EFTPOS payment is available at the consular counter.
Appointment
Arrange the interview through the Consulate's appointment facility or the contact method stated in the current official guidance.
