Before applying

Only applicants living in NSW or Queensland should lodge visa applications with the Sydney Consulate. Residents of other states and territories should apply through the Bangladesh High Commission in Canberra.

• Apply well before intended travel
• Attend an interview or provide additional documents if requested

Application documents

Requirements depend on the visa category. Applicants generally submit the completed visa form, valid passport, recent photographs, copies of passport information and visa pages, and supporting evidence explaining the purpose of travel.

Important conditions

Incomplete applications may not be processed. Approval, visa category, validity, number of entries and length of stay remain subject to assessment by the issuing authority.
